We've come along way as a species when it comes to science and faith but still, I think, so often miss it entirely. We assume one should do the job of the other and grow fearful when it can't. Listen in as Janet and I begin to open up what it's like to view science in a new light.
Guest Bio:
Janet Ray is an enthusiastic science communicator. She blogs at JanetKRay.com and on Facebook, focusing on contemporary issues in science, medicine, and faith - and she loves the perfect storm of all three at once!
Janet holds a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction, with seventeen years of university teaching, both biology majors and non-majors. Janet is the author of Baby Dinosaurs on the Ark? The Bible and Modern Science and the Trouble of Making It All Fit (Eerdmans, 2021).
Raised a creationist, Janet is a science educator and a practicing Christian who accepts evolution. She is uniquely equipped to explain evolution to questioners, doubters, deniers, and those who just want to know more about the science of origins.
