This week I had the great pleasure of sitting down with Pastor Brian Zahnd to discuss a bit about his most recent book, Sinners in the Hands of a Loving God. Brian is the founder and lead pastor of Word of Life Church, a non-denominational Christian congregation in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Brian and his wife, Peri, founded the church in 1981. Brian is also the author of several books, including, Sinners in the Hands of a Loving God, Water to Wine, A Farewell To Mars, Beauty Will Save the World, and Unconditional?: The Call of Jesus to Radical Forgiveness.
You can find all Brians work at https://brianzahnd.com/ and I encourage you to connect with him on Twitter as well at @BrianZahnd
Special Music for this episode was provided by artist Dane Joneshill. Dane's songs paint pictures of places and people, times and moments that are rich with color and movement. With a lyricism more akin to a novelist than a songwriter, his songs are at once wry, charming and bittersweet. Like a Steinbeck book, they walk the tension of darkness and loss in order to find the lights of hope.
If you like the music Dane is currently giving it away at NoiseTrade for a limited time; but if you're like me you'll be happy to pay some dollars.
